Growing up, my parents always signed my siblings and myself up for various activities over the summer holidays to keep us engaged and help us grow. In the same way, my husband and I enrolled our children in Ant Learning’s summer school for two weeks in 2024 to give them a head start for Year 3. The Ant Learning team was both friendly and professional. Their sign up process, communication and onboarding were world-class and the learning structure was very engaging for our kids. Another unique factor was that Ant Learning is one of the few quality tutoring services that accept Childcare Vouchers. We were so impressed with the Summer School experience that we enrolled our kids for the term time Saturday School. The class size is small enough for each child to feel seen and heard, and we’ve seen the kids grow in their vocabulary, comprehension and maths skills. Big thanks to Fola for his listening ears as he seeks feedback on the parent and child experience, to Rebecca for her responsiveness to enquiries and to Lara for sharing her wealth of experience via insightful newsletters, webinars and social media posts. The staff they are patient, kind, and truly care about the children's learning. I noticed improvements in my 4 year old child reading after she attended their summer reading school Dartford , so much so that i enrolled her into their saturday school for maths and English. If you're looking for an enriching way to help your child grow academically, I highly recommend Ant Learning.

My son had a very lovely and enjoyable experience, he learnt a lot , the teaching style worked well and we are happy with the results. The teachers were very good too. My son will definitely be going back for summer school.

My daughter attended Ant Learning's summer school program for three weeks, and we are beyond pleased with the experience! Before the program, she was struggling to blend sounds in words, which delayed her reading progress. She's always been enthusiastic about learning, and Ant Learning made it even more fun and exciting for her. She was genuinely happy to go every single day and came home full of stories! not just about what she learned, but also about the new friends she made. The staff were incredibly welcoming and supportive, which made a huge difference. As a parent, I really appreciated the end of session report and the parent evening. It was a lovely touch that showed how much care goes into each child’s development. Since summer school, my daughter has started Year 1 and recently moved up to the next reading group after her school reading assessment amazing progress in such a short time! We’re now enrolling in Saturday school to keep building on everything she’s learned. Thank you, Ant Learning, for giving my daughter such a positive start to the school year!

I recently enrolled my 3 kiddos to Ant Learning, I have seen great growth and determination in their attitude to learning. Ant Learning was recommended to me by a friend, it’s been the best intentional decision my husband and I have made for our kids! I love the constructive feedback parents receive at the end of every session this allows me to better understand and support my kiddos during the learning week which in turn empowers them hit key weekly milestone that empowers them on the learning journey!

My daughter started the ANT Learning reading program in the spring term. Before she began, she had a reading age of 5-6 years and could read simple three- to four-letter words. However, she struggled with blending sounds and pronouncing multi-syllable words. In just 12 weeks, her ANT Learning teacher has completely transformed her reading ability. She can now pick up children's novels and read them by herself with little to no help. She enjoys attending the branch every Saturday and speaks very highly of her teacher. She recently joined the 6+ English lessons and absolutely loved her first week, so looking forward to where this takes her. Thank you so much for helping my child reach a higher potential. I could always see that she loved reading but would often get frustrated when she stumbled over words she couldn’t pronounce before starting the program, She is a little more advanced compared to the school curriculum and i didn't want her to get bored or discouraged by going through what she already knew. By the way, my daughter is only 5 years old — and now she has a reading age of a 9-10 year-old! I am super proud and incredibly grateful to ANT Learning for helping her unlock this amazing potential. I don't usually do reviews but this one was a must!

It has been a pleasure to have ant learning tutor my children for over the last 7 years. The teachers are great and really focus on making sure the kids can apply the principles and are really thorough with making sure they understand each section to an excellent degree before moving on. I’ve been really impressed with how my kids have been able to develop and improve in a short space of time. Well done to the amazing team!

Ant Learning has been brilliant for my daughter! She has grown so much and is now blending, which she could not do about 6weeks ago when we started! We are not there yet, but the progress has been amazing! Also, the greatest thing about the reading class is that when we are revising at home, my daughter no longer gets frustrated when she doesn’t understand, she works through it, and that for me has been so beautiful to watch. Thank you team!

This is an awesome place for kids to develop their reading and writing skills at a young age and the best possible progress for 11 plus. I have had 2 children successfully complete the programme and their level of nurturing, encouragement and development for my kids has been phenomenal. My oldest got to one of the best schools in Essex and the second one is also on track to do the same. I highly recommend Ant Learning.

ANT Learning has been so good to our family, supporting our son from 5 years old until prepping for his 11+. Additionally, helping our daughter in developing her maths knowledge. It is structured, small classes for the children to get the attention they need and a chance to get feedback on a regular basis.

My daughter loves coming here every Saturday. The location is very organised and well managed. The teachers are nice and helpful. Would recommend a start at a young age.

From the very first trial session, the experience was very different and much more positive than experiences I've had with other tuition centres. The communication is excellent and the extras like seminars for parents are really valuable resources. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. My son is enthusiastic to return every week, which is always a good thing.

I am grateful for the 3 weeks my son spent at Ant Learning during the summer. My son improved on his ability to complete tests and he is now very confident about the upcoming 11 Plus exams. I also received regular feedback from the tutor about my son’s progress which I found very helpful.

My daughter started here and could barely speak, write or read. Wow the progress she has made, she can now confidently read and her writing is amazing. Seriously the teaching is excellent, particularly from Ms Evie. They had so much patience with my daughter. From the reception staff up to the owners, they are very professional, informative, welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this school, so supportive to various needs.

My two children started the reading programme with Ant learning and went in to do the maths and English programmes. Their academic progress have Ben superb. Both of my children were reading fluently while in reception class. They have consistently been above the year group - one of them has moved up through the different programmes all the way to the 11plus programme and one to the 9plus programme. They have been huge support and the programmes have given them a solid foundation in Maths and English. Beyond that, I also love that the programmes have instilled the discipline of learning exhibit I believe will be of great value as they into the senior years in their education. Thank you so much Ant learning for the care and support given to the children.

We joined Ant Learning in July after speaking to another parent friend. In addition to our son enjoying the classes, what has struck me the most has been the timely and descriptive feedback from his teachers we’ve received to help us know how to support our son. I get a sense that they are as invested as we are in my sons success.

Our childs ability to read, spell and write has completely turned around. Our child is thriving since joining Ant School. Before Ant school, we tried teaching different things to our child on our own and were not very effective. The tools given by Ant School (work sheets and additional educational tools for homework work) has enabled us to work with our child at home and we see a complete difference to our childs engagement. With Ant School we know we are not alone and they care for our childs success as deeply as we do. Our child prefers Ant School to regular school, and loves the 1:1 tailored support. Thank you Ant School, it hasn't been a year yet and we are so grateful for your support and taken aback with our childs rapid development!

My son age 7 started in the summer term of 2022/3 academic year. We started him on both English and Maths. He did an assessment to determine what level he should be at. After one term, I noticed the improvement in his learning and he was also covering topics his school had not yet covered. This gave him a confidence boost. After the summer holidays we have continued his tuition at the centre and have found he is more willing to complete his homework than last term. He is keen to learn and get his work correct. I feel choosing Ant Learning was a good decision for our son and we are keen to learn about his progress in the termly meetings and after session discussion at pick up.
