Terms and Conditions

  • Who we are. Ant Learning Ltd (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘Ant Learning’) is a specialist provider of private tuition in reading, English, maths, science, and entrance exam prep for children 3½ – 16. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14057991. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ

FEE PAYMENT

Term time programmes – Saturday School, Weekday School and Short Programmes

  • £50 One-off registration fee is per child and is for first-time enrolment only.
  • Termly tuition fees are as stated on enrolment and payable then.
  • Parents or guardians’ contract length with Ant Learning for term time programmes is a minimum of one academic term. An academic term includes Autumn Term, Spring Term and Summer Term
  • Parents and guardians understand and accept that after payment is made for the term, there is no refund of fees under any circumstances.
  • Parents or guardians wishing to cancel their child’s tuition with us for the current term must do so in writing. Any cancellations at any date within the current term will take effect after the end of the term. For example, if you inform us on 10th October 2024 or on 1st December 2024 that you want to cancel your child’s enrolment for the Autumn term (ending 7th December), the cancellation will take effect after 7th December 2024.
  • Parents or guardians wishing to cancel their child’s tuition with us for the following or future terms must do so in writing at least four weeks before the end of the current term. If notice is not received, the equivalent of four sessions or 30% of the following term’s fees will be due for payment.
  • Any instalment payment arrangement made with Klarna for payment of tuition fees is between Klarna and the paying parent or guardian. Any disputes, cancellations, refunds or other queries arising from such undertaking are managed by the parent or guardian directly with Klarna and are subject to the terms above.

 

Summer School Programmes

  • £50 One-off registration fee is per child and is for first-time enrolment only.
  • Summer School tuition fees are as stated on enrolment and payable then.
  • Parents or guardians’ contract length with Ant Learning for Summer School programmes is a minimum of one week i.e. Monday – Friday. Parents or guardians can request a refund of the fees they pay for Summer School according to the following:

  • Any instalment payment arrangement made with Klarna for payment of Summer School tuition fees is between Klarna and the paying parent or guardian. Any disputes, cancellations, refunds, or other queries arising from such undertaking are managed by the parent or guardian directly with Klarna and are subject to the terms above.

 

Online Taster

Ant Learning taster sessions online and at the centre are free for every child. However, a refundable deposit is collected at the point of registration for online taster sessions. The payer will receive a full refund of the payment if:

  • You cancel at least 72 hours in advance of the start time
  • Your child attends the taster session for at least 40 minutes

Failure to complete either of these two actions will lead to a loss of the deposit payment. Please allow between 5 – 10 working days from the day of the taster session you booked for refunds to be processed.

 

Referral and sibling discount

  • The 5% sibling discount applies to the 2nd and 3rd siblings only.
  • The referral discount of £20 for one-subject enrolment and £45 for two-subject enrolment will be applied to the following term’s fees when a referral is made. For the referral discount to be applicable, the child that has been referred must have paid the term’s fees in full. Parents are reminded to advise the referred parent(s) or guardian(s) to state their name on the enrolment form so that the discount can be applied.
 

ATTENDANCE, HOMEWORK AND MISSED SESSIONS

It is your responsibility as a parent or guardian to ensure that your child regularly attends their booked lessons and completes any homework set. Missed lessons cannot be made up or refunded.


CONFIDENTIALITY AND NON-COMPETITION

As a parent or guardian, you agree that the reading instruction methods or any materials gathered and learned from Ant Learning programmes are for my child’s private use only.


NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

We provide parents and guardians with vital information regarding the progress children enrolled on our programme can achieve, enrolling on our programme does not in any way act as a guarantee of results.
