Tuition centre taster
Every taster session includes an assessment to help us determine which class to place your child into. The assessment is a timed test in the subject(s) you have expressed interest in. While we mark the test, your child is placed in a classroom based on their age and school year, allowing them to also meet their prospective tutor and fellow classmates.
During the taster session, parents leave their children with us. At the end of the session, we provide feedback and recommendations to parents on next steps.
Online tuition taster
Once you’ve booked the online taster session, you will receive a link to join the taster a day before. The free assessment is conducted after enrolment.
What’s needed for a successful taster? We strongly recommend the following for the best experience:
- Quiet and comfortable working area
- A laptop or desktop computer with a camera, speaker, microphone, and the recommended app (specified in the email you’ll receive)
- Steady broadband connection
- Pencil and loose sheets to write on.
We recommend your child logs in 5 – 10 minutes before the taster session start time. After the session, a member of our team will provide feedback and a recommendation to parents on next steps.
